New Family Force 5 Single!

I'm very excited that Family Force 5 is releasing their third studio project later this year! Their latest single "Every Night of the Week" has already been released, and I have posted it here so you can take a listen. I have to be honest, however: I love the music, but they lyrics are awful! I mean, I was hoping for more of a Christian single, not some song about girls! I guess that is what 75% of FF5 lyrics are about... Anyways, take a listen, and let me know what you think of it!

  1. HeY,
I totally agree with you the music sounds AWESOME! But the lyrics are in no way christian, talking about parting with a girl in daisy duke shorts!
But thanks b.c I didn't know that they had a song out! :)

  2. Like most other FF5 songs I've heard, it wasn't Christ-centered at all. It was all about girls and flirting and was quite inappropriate. Disappointing. :(

They could do a lot with their sound if they just tried. They sounded great with Angels We Have Heard on High.

  4. I'm not only disappointed in the lyrics, but the track doesn't sound very high quality. Maybe it's just the video, or they were going for that sound.

    I don't like this song.Sorry FF5 fans.

  5. The lyrics to Dang Gurrl are pretty bad too. Fun, but iffy depending on who's listening to them.

  6. Thank you all for chiming in on this! It's awesome hearing your point of views on this track.

@Lisa: I think the video was not very good quality, but I didn't think it sounded quite as good as their other stuff. :(

  7. I agree that the music is awesome. But the lyrics sort of leave me with my scratching my head. Dang Gurl was the same. Maybe they're trying to go more mainstream?

  8. I couldn't believe the lyrics for a band that calls themselves Christians. I think they just want the popularity on both sides...

  9. I think they are one of those bands that says they are Christians in a band, but don't call themselves a "Christian band".

It's not just them, I've seen it in several bands. I honestly find it very disappointing.

  10. I have to say it is one of the worst songs I have heard from Family Force 5. I don't like it at all. I was hoping they would bring back the style of music they did on the first album. It just sounds like the other albums they did that weren't good at all. I hoping there is a better song on this new album if not I won't be buying it. That is just my thoughts.

  11. To be honest with you... I hated it! I normally don't like to use the word "hate" but this song is just horrible! I seriouly thought they WERE a Christian band. *shakes head*

  12. It ain't that bad of a song, and besides, this is just a demo. It's gonna be way more polished by the time the song comes out for real and maybe the lyrics will have been changed a bit. And there are a ton of girls I know who go to my church who party just the way Soul Glow describes it...just sayin' :P
