Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! As you celebrate Christmas with your family this year, be sure to remember the greatest gift anyone could ever give -- Jesus. The God of all the Universe looked down upon Earth and gave up His only Son for our sins that we might become right with Him. Now we can approach the throne of God boldly having found mercy and grace to help in time of need. This year, remember that Jesus gave you peace, righteousness, and eternal salvation!

I'd like to share a few of my favorite Christmas songs with you today. First, here's a touching, gorgeous song from Relient K that pretty much says it all -- "Celebrate the Day":

Here's Michael W. Smith's "Welcome to Our World." I actually liked Chris Rice's version better (as he was the writer), but I could not find a good version. So enjoy Michael's awesome carol:

Here's Joy William's "2000 Decembers Ago" which I just discovered a few days ago, and immediately loved it! Hope you enjoy it as well:

Here's Andrew Peterson's bluegrass cover of "Long, Long Ago." Beautiful!

And last, but certainly not least, here's Sixteen Cities' original carol "Morningstar"! (I guess that was no surprise to those of you who know me! :D ) Love the pictures, too! :D Enjoy!

Isaiah 11:1-2 There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots. The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.

Luke 2:6-14 So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger." And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: "Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!"

Merry Christmas everybody!
