Happy New Year!!

Revelation 21:5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

Isaiah 42:9 "See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce them to you.”

Isaiah 43:18-19 Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Happy 2011! It's a new year! A time to look forward to the future with ambition, goals, and plans. 2010 was a great year for me personally, as I saw God's goodness, provision, and help when I needed it most. God is so good, and I look forward to seeing how He is going to bless this site this coming year. And guess what? I have some new exciting plans for the blog that I can't wait to share with you!

Artist of the month: I did this several times in the past year, but I plan to keep it up faithfully this year. I will feature an artist, possibly with an interview attached, and give the history of the band including hits and history of the band.

Featured Movie Friday: I don't know how often this feature will appear, but I will periodically feature a video that I have seen recently and enjoy, with a review and perhaps some interesting information on the movie.

More Interviews: I've done several of these, but several interviews are in the works, and I hope to do more of these as time goes on. Want me to do an interview with a particular artist? Let me know! :)

Ask Jay: For once! A meme I was faithful with! :) I answer your questions about Christian music with interesting trivia and facts. Your questions make this feature possible! Shoot yours now to jay@jaysmusikblog.com!

Guest posts: Yes, these are great! I have some great friends and readers of my blog who are also great writers! In December, I featured two guest posts from Justin and Lisa, and I hope this trend will continue with some awesome, talented readers I have. :)

More Reviews: Oh yeah! If 2010 didn't give you enough, we're going into 2011 in full blast! You never know when these will be up, but you will see probably at least two or three a week. :)

So thanks for all that you, my readers, have done to help promote this site. I am truly thankful for every reader of this site, whether or not they ever contact me. You make what I do possible. I'm also thankful to God for giving me Divine connections, and placing me exactly where I am right now. To Him be all the glory!

I'll close this post with my favorite New Year's song -- Kutless and "Vow":

Happy 2011! Out with the old, in with the new! :)
