Christmas Time is Here!!

Christmas time is here! It seems strange to say that already, but Thanksgiving is past, and Christmas is less than a month away! This is the time that customers push each other over to get to the best deal at the store. Isn't that exciting? :) I braved the crowds this morning at 5 AM, and actually got pretty nifty deals! In fact, I bought several computer related items half of the value! I love wireless items, so I had a blast shopping this morning. At STAPLES, the line was three-quarters around the store, but because of their wonderful set up, it only took about 45 minutes to make it to the front. It was totally a blast in my opinion.

Anyways, all that to say, it's time to break out the Christmas music! So here's a little trivia for you:

1) What's your favorite Christmas carol and by whom?
2) Do you Black Friday shop; why or why not?

You can answer these questions on my comment box or on your own blog. And while you do so, listen to my favorite carol: Beckah Shae's "Most Beautiful Time of the Year," just released Tuesday! Merry Christmas!! :)

  1. Wow! You're right, Jay! I LOVE that song! :)

Here are my answers to your trivia:

    1) My favorite Christmas Carol has got to be "I Heard The Bells on Christmas Day" by Casting Crowns; it's beautiful! But really, that question is too hard, IMO, with all the "newer" versions coming out nowadays. I love Me In Motion's "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree," and Lenae Hale's "Starving Artist Christmas" (does that last one count as a Christmas carol?). :D

    2) You were so brave to go Black Friday shopping so early! Personally, I do go Black Friday shopping, but prefer to wait a few hours until the crowds have died down before I go out.

  3. Oh that first one is HARD!!!

Gee, I like "O Holy Night," and MercyMe's version is probably my favorite contemporary version. I do so also love their rendition of "Angels We Have Heard on High!"
Another favorite is "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing." Oh! And Erin O'Donnell did a nice "Mary, Did You Know?"

Geepers, there are too many! :D

I don't think I ever go Black Friday shopping. Except that today I got guitar strings. :D Too crowded; if Mom goes, she will go by herself cuz she can drive and I can make sure the fam gets fed. ;)

  5. Thank you all for your answers! Good ones! Looks like "Oh Holy Night" has the preeminence here. Speaking of... I'll have to remember to post my favorite version of it by Christmas. :)

@Miss S: Lenae Hale's Christmas version certainly does count. I love it, too! :)

@Mike: Yeah, it would be a coincidence if I had happened to see you this morning. :)
