John Schlitt named best Christian rock singer in Christian music

Reknown Christian rock singer John Schlitt has been named "the best rock singer in Christian music history." He was picked out of Gospel Music Channel's list of ten favorite rock singers in Christian music history. John Schlitt (solo artist, Petra, Head East) won over extremely talented artists such as Jon Foreman from Switchfoot, Michael Sweet from Stryper, Kevin Max from dc Talk, Michael Tait from Newsboys and dc Talk, and John Cooper from Skillet (OMG!). This is a shocker to many contemporary Christian music fans, and John Schlitt himself couldn't believe that he won over Michael Sweet and Kevin Max. CM spin's website declares of Schlitt:
"John Schlitt has earned multiple Gold Records, Grammys and Dove Awards. He has toured all over the world and has been inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame as a member of Petra." Schlitt recently released a new solo project entitled, "The Grafting."

  1. Wow! This is amazing! It's hard to believe... although John Schlitt does have an amazing voice. I'm surprised he won over all the other Christian rock singers!

  2. John Schlitt has a great voice and testimony. Flyleaf is my favorite Christian band. Paper Tongues is touring with them. Both bands are amazing.

Flyleaf is offering extra music to people who pre- order their new album, Memento Mori on i-Tunes. Check it out:
