A bundle of Casting Crowns news!

Casting Crowns will be on the "Huckabee" show tonight at 8 PM EST. "Huckabee" airs on the Fox News Channel twice a week, so you can watch it twice, tonight and tomorrow at 8 PM. On Casting Crowns blog, it tells us the following: "The Governor interviews lead singer and Pastor Mark Hall about the group’s second trip to North Korea, performing in Pyongyang, D.P.R.K as a U.S. delegate in a nationally-televised arts festival. Huckabee, on bass guitar, also joins the band’s performance of its blockbuster No. 1 hit song, 'Voice Of Truth.'"

Casting Crown's lead singer has written another book called, "Your Own Jesus". This book talks about how too many people inherit Jesus from other people, instead of knowing Him for themselves. I read a review on Christian forums about this book. "Mark Hall incorporates stories from his life and the lives of friends to convey the necessity of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Utilizing scripture and spiritual insight, he challenges the reader to pursue their own Jesus because the faith of one's pastor, mother, father or friend will not suffice." I can hardly wait to read this book and review it for myself.

Also of interest, Casting Crowns is releasing a new album in November entiled, "Until the Whole World Hears". This will be the first album from the group to feature Brian Scoggin for drummer in place of Andy Williams. "The talented and very bald drummer was replaced with the talented Brian Scoggin and his red locks of hair, an irony Mark mentions on tour" (everydaychristian.com). The new single is already available for download on Itunes. For more information, visit Casting Crowns website.
