More great new releases this fall!

This fall is an exiting season for any big Christian music fan. We already knew that Kutless, Skillet, Selah, Hawk Nelson, and Barlowgirl were releasing CDs, but now there are more to add to the list! First is the Canadian based Downhere.

Downhere will be releasing their very first Christmas album entitled, "How Many Kings" on October 6th, 2009. Downhere's desire to produce a Christmas album has grown over the years, since they have been performing Christmas songs at concerts since 2001. It became apparent that they could combine a Christmas album with the success of "How Many Kings" (#4 on the Christian AC charts). The band started with a great big list of songs they wanted to record, and then whittled it down to only the very best of them.

Also, Pillar has announced that their 6th album "Confessions" will be released on September 22, 2009. This time around, Pillar teamed up with guest composers- Jasen Rauch (guitarist for Red), and Jason Roy (lead singer for Building 429). Pillar's lead singer Rob Beckley said, "I had never had goose bumps listening to our own music before, but this album is just on a whole different level." Pillar has also announced that they will be touring on the Confessions Tour with KJ-52 and Run Kid Run early this fall.
